Christmas Time!

This year has been truly different. In fact, last year I was a stay at home mom with Karsten and we baked dozens of cookies and they were already in the freezer. This year, I got started on Christmas shopping just last week and baking got started just yesterday! So tomorrow, we have to bake our gingerbread cookies, which are the boys' favorite! And it feels like Christmas has really come upon us very quickly this year. But here's some fun things we've done this past week.

Karsten has wanted a wallet, just like his brother. We usually let them open one present early.

Zachary has been really into puzzles and word finds. He is opening a puzzle.

Karsten helped me pound the oreos. They were still not fine enough so we used a food processor too. He enjoyed pressing down the button on that too.

I got this recipe from a friend from school. Simple recipe of: a package of oreos, 1 package of cream cheese and almond bark to dip them in. Sprinkles were something we added...Karsten loved that job too!

Karsten and his friend Billy singing a song in sign language at their school Christmas program.

Karsten enjoying his gingerbread cookie after the program.

Our neighbors came to the program and we enjoyed the yummy treats afterwards.
