We did it!
Well, God did it. He helped us purchase a house. It was in our price range, in the new city and it was more than we could have asked for. God exceeded our expectations.
It does feel like we are on fast forward, but we trust that God is doing things in His timing and we are really along for the ride. We are so very thankful for what God is doing.
It does feel pretty crazy around our house. We are packing until we just can't pack anymore. I know that it's time for a break when looking at a box makes me feel tired. Even in our sheer exhaustion, we know how very blessed we are that things are doing so smoothly.
The new house is different mostly in terms of the location. We are surrounded by trees and huge yards in the front and back here. But we are going to be getting used to a smaller yard (less upkeep) in St. Cloud. We will have closer neighbors and we are quite ok with that. We want to get to know people fairly quickly and being outside in the summer makes that very easy.
Hopefully after we move, we can post some pictures.
I am beginning to feel more excited about what God has in store, while remaining patient as to when He will show us more of the picture.
