It's so crazy around here. There are McDonald fry boxes everywhere. We are making our fourth move in nine years. We know which boxes work the best. The fry boxes seem to be the perfect size.
As I pack, (as I have done many other times) I say to myself that we are getting rid of some of this STUFF (Jason calls it JUNK). There is way too much stuff to pack. We don't NEED a lot of the stuff that we have. But it is much like our emotional life, we collect and accumulate so much stuff. Even when we don't need it or use it, we keep stuff around.
It reminds me that we ought to just get rid of stuff before it accumulates and makes a home for itself in our house. We should say "no" before we even think of buying it. We should be content with what we have.
Material things can be a lot like emotional stuff. We don't have to let things accumulate. We don't have to "house" anything that is useless and taking up space. Really! Well that feels better. So here's to not having to give our time or space to accumulating stuff (or junk) we don't need...figuratively or literally.
