How To Make Pancakes Disappear

One morning, feeling unusually "awake" (I'm not a morning person) I thought it would be fun to make animal pancakes. So I took a squeeze bottle, put some pancake batter in it and asked the boys what kind of animal they wanted. Karsten opted for a giraffe and Zachary a dog. After some tricky maneuvering trying to get the pancake off the griddle in one piece, I asked for the next round if they wanted an animal face. Much easier to get it off the griddle! But the pancakes disappeared quickly. And it was definitely something we'd do again...as long as there are no animals with long necks.
